No Refund Policy for the Structural Pest Management Association of British Columbia (SPMABC)

 

The Structural Pest Management Association of British Columbia (SPMABC) is committed to providing valuable experiences and resources to its members and the community. As a non-profit organization, we strive to keep our programs and events affordable, but we also must ensure that our resources are utilized efficiently.

 

No Refunds Policy

 

All membership fees and event fees are non-refundable. By paying for membership or event participation, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

 

1. Membership dues are non-refundable. Upon payment, members receive access to all benefits associated with their membership as outlined in the SPMABC Membership Agreement. If a member has concerns about their membership, they are encouraged to contact the Association directly to discuss the matter.

 

2. Event fees including but not limited to training programs and conferences are non-refundable. Should a registrant be unable to attend, they may transfer their registration to another individual for the same event, subject to availability, and any applicable event terms/conditions.

 

3. Exceptions: Refunds may be granted under exceptional circumstances, which may include event cancellations, government-imposed travel restrictions, public health and safety risks, or significant disruptions that may compromise the viability of the event. In such cases, the SPMABC will consider available options, which may include offering alternatives such as transfers or credits for future events or services, in accordance with applicable laws.

 

Compliance with Consumer Protection Laws:

This policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection and non-profit regulations under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, including the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. For any disputes, members and participants may contact the SPMABC at info@spmabc.com to discuss the issue or seek resolution.
